Lyndsey Norris-Collette 11and Hannah Johnson 10, first doubles, lost their first game, 2-6, but came back with a beautiful victory with their second and third game, 6-3, 7-5.
Jordyn Ashford 12 and Rachel Vermeeren 12 won 6-3 in second doubles and for third doubles, Cambri Shanahan 12 and Nicole Jones 11 prevailed 6-2, 7-5.
The girls then headed to districts on May 15th where Johnson and Norris-Collette placed first. Craft took 3rd and Katie Gudgell 12 barely edged out of districts, losing in a three-setter.
“I was proud of the play out of everyone. It was a long weekend and there were a lot of good games,” said Coach Donovin.
