Incoming Freshman Registration Night

On Tuesday March 17, about 60% of the 242 8^th graders expected to attend RAL filed into the auditorium for a brief presentation from our own Mr. Frost.

After that, students, parents, and select teachers from different departments chaotically scrambled into the cafeteria where the incoming freshmen were to sign up for two elective classes and one Physical Education class.

This is the second year that the counselors have done registration in this manner.

In the cafeteria, students and parents were able to ask teachers about the classes they taught. Subject areas that were represented included Art, Physical Education, World Languages, Industrial Art, Music, Drama, Home Economics, Business, English, Science, and Math.

All 8^th graders not in attendance will have to register through the guidance office or their classes will just be chosen for them by their counselors.
