Thespians At WWU

April 17, 2009

After 4 hours on a charter bus troupe 699 (RAL/MM) arrived at Washington State Thespian Conference was held at Western Washington University. With many troupes from around the state Mainstage was the oldest, compared to others ranging anywhere from the 6000’s to 7000’s.

Those who attended conference had many opportunities to watch many shows from around the state, learn new skills from experts, and just socialize with fellow thespians (actors). These shows ranged anywhere from Shakespeare to WW2 dramas to Urine Town the Musical. The workshops included Suzuki , Kabooki and many more various acting styles and skills.

Students learned a lot about sword fighting, musicals, and improvisation. Overall Thespian conference was a valuable learning experience for all involved.
