Ch..Ch..Changes

An alternative program, teachers leaving, and a new teacher joining staff; changes are everywhere at RAL.
Next year, the Harding Building will no longer be a part of RAL. It is in the process of becoming an alternative high school. Coordinating the new program is Teri Page. Washington state teacher of the year, Audra Degg, will be teaching science; Kurt Gray will be teaching math; Steve Green will be the social studies teacher; Andrea Bergquist will teach English; and T. J. Frey will be in charge of art classes.
Moving to the main building are those who formally taught in the Harding Building.
Movement will occur all over RAL campus. Sara Brown will be teaching English full time; Jayleen Baker will teach art full time; Darin Dollemore will be teaching social studies full time; and John Gross has science full time.
Ms. Fidler, Mr. Foges, and Ms. Warren decided to put down their pencils and retire.
Some teachers from RAL have switched to the dark side; four staff members are moving to MM. Steve Rooklidge, Jim Kolberg, and Katie Navarro will be teaching there full time in their regular subjects. Meanwhile, Jennifer Laberge will teach two classes and MM and three at RAL.
Joining the hallowed halls of RAL is Allison (Westendorf) Dickenson. The name Westendorf may sound familiar to those who had her mother for some Computers classes.
The future is still unknown to Sue Heaton, Kathy Waite, Terry Sargent, Kelli Davenport, and Carla Pederson. Another victim of Reduction Inforces is Irina Maslennikova.
